At African Soul we specialise in providing workshops and drum therapy sessions for students with all kinds of abilities. Drumming is naturally infectious and speaks to people individually as well as connecting groups.
Drumming is a fantastic way to keep mentally and physically healthy and is fun and liberating. It encourages cooperation and acceptance and is beneficial in many healing processes. The simple repetitions in drumming change brain wave activity, generating a state of calm and focused awareness. It releases endorphins in the brain, which make you feel happy and balanced. In these specially designed workshops we focus on allowing each participant the opportunity to drum, dance, sing and freely express themselves, in a safe and caring environment whilst having lots of fun.
